ACT IV

In a biding war, even when you win: what you thought you wanted, can suddenly be reapraise.
Other times old oppoents resurface,to raise the steaks.
but its the things we walk away from, that feel like they cost the most and yet its when we've been outbid; force to watch our prize go home with others, thaat the rules of protocall no longer apply. I wouldn't just put the paddle away just yet, who knows what biddders will do when there deperate.
